Severstal launches new metal coating unit at Cherepovets Mill

MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- Russia’s metallurgic giant Severstal plans to launch a 7.5 billion ruble metal coating unit at its Cherepovets Steel Mill, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

The unit will comprise a hot galvanizing unit with a capacity of 400,000 tonnes annually and a polymer coating unit with a capacity of 200,000 tonnes annually.
